The kitchen is a place where we often care about the maximum use of space, regardless of whether it is a large or small kitchen. For small kitchens, however, this may prove to be a necessity. The maximum use of the available space is primarily to make the room functional and ergonomic.
How to achieve it?

Arrangement of furniture
Especially in small rooms, the spatial layout is extremely important. It can be effective to arrange all furniture, shelves and cabinets in one line. Thanks to this, even a small room will not seem crowded and cramped. Workspaces should also be considered.

Bet on minimalism
Small rooms are the easiest to maintain, but also use, if they are tidy, clean and not cluttered with unnecessary items. In this case, a kitchen decorated in a minimalist style will be perfect. If you focus on minimalism, you can build in household appliances, put on fittings that facilitate storage, and all things from the worktop will be hidden. Such a built-in can also be built-in to the ceiling, thanks to which you will get a clean and uniform look, and at the same time much more space for kitchen appliances and storage accessories.

Space sharing
Another way to use limited space, especially if you have a small flat in a block of flats, is to integrate several living zones together. Such a solution will be, for example, a kitchen open to the living room, which can be separated by a kitchen, sofa or dining table. In this way, despite not much room for manoeuvre, you will still have kitchen, living and dining space, despite one room.

Plinth drawers
There is no such thing as too many drawers – especially when we have limited space in the kitchen. An interesting solution that allows you to add additional storage space are plinth drawers. These are drawers mounted under cabinets. It will be a great solution if you care about the maximum use of space. You can store there accessories that you do not reach for too often, e.g. baking trays and moulds, trays, rolling pins or graters.

Custom-made furnishings
In the case of ready-made sets of kitchen furniture or standard cabinets, you will rarely be able to perfectly match them to your room. There is a good chance that you will be left with a gap or empty space that will be difficult to use. You can easily avoid this problem by opting for custom-made furniture that will be ideally suited to your kitchen.
