Kitchen fittings – what can we choose?

Fittings are various additions or accessories to furniture, giving the furniture proper functionality or aesthetic appearance. As you can guess, it is not one type of specific accessories, and as a result, we have many types of fittings that can be made of different materials. So what will be the best for kitchen furniture?

It should be remembered that regardless of the room, the fittings should be matched to the specificity of the furniture.
Roller or ball guides are ideal for larger and heavier kitchen drawers. This solution will ensure, above all, stability – the drawer will not swing sideways.
Drawers should be equipped with self-closing systems with amortization – this is the so-called silent closing. Such a drawer, when pushed, will not slam, but will slow down and silently close itself. In the case of lockers, a similar effect can be had by decelerators that are attached to the body of the locker.
Another fitting that is simply created for the kitchen are baskets (cargo cabinets or carousels). Such a cabinet most often takes the form of a metal basket or a few baskets attached to racks. Various configurations are possible and the baskets can be pulled out of the cabinet on rails. It is an ideal place to store dishes, pans and pots, and these solutions often find their place in corner cabinets or as gap development.

In the case of modern kitchens, an interesting solution may be handleless opening systems, thanks to which a cabinet or drawer can be opened by pressing the front or moving a hand or foot.
One of the most popular fittings are guides that ensure full extension of drawers.
